All positions at Southside Wrecker come with comprehensive training, competitive pay, and additional benefits. Employees must comply with random drug testing. Qualified candidates will have a clean driving record and no criminal history. A full background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
Full-Time Light Duty Operators
Full-Time office staff/Dispatcher
- Must have two years previous Towing experience
- Must have a clear driving record
- Must have or be able to get a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Non consent tow license
- Must have or be able to get a City of Austin Tow License (COA does a much deeper background investigation than TDLR)
- Fixed work schedule, 5 days or nights per week No on call (60 Hour work weeks)
- 1-week paid vacation after 1 year of continuous employment
- Uniforms with cleaning service
- Paid life insurance ($15,000.00) after 90-day probation Employee paid options available
- Health Insurance available after 90-day probation Employee paid options available
- Continuous training (On site safety manager with monthly safety meetings)
- Paid Training
- Hourly plus Commission pay
- Clean and Equipped Flatbed Tow Trucks
- Possible Heavy Duty Operator training after one-year Light Duty service
- Answering telephones quickly and professionally
- Accepting and entering Tow calls into Towbook and Aries dispatch/Lot management system
- Dispatching calls to drivers
- Customer Service
- Releasing vehicles from storage lot
- Light office cleaning
- More computer knowledge than Towing knowledge needed (We can train Towing knowledge)
- Fixed work schedule, 5 days or nights per week three shifts to choose from (40 Hour work weeks)
- 1-week paid vacation after 1 year of continuous employment
